It was a wet, miserable Friday at the start of November and the students of Rowntree school had just come back from their autumn break at Halloween. Outside, the road was a river and it was hailing, 'nice weather to be walking in,' thought Leah, sarcastically, who was walking into her form room for morning registration. At that point, her best friend, May, shouted her name and waved at her from across the room, already sat in their usual place with Ellie, another friend. As Leah went and sat down with them they were talking about some sort of day out shopping, but Leah's mind was already occupied.
